Children's Environmental Health Center

About the Children's Center

The Children’s Center at Illinois was formed to study the impact of endocrine-disrupting chemicals found in consumer products on neuro- and reproductive development, and whether obesity or a high-fat diet high could interact with these chemicals to increase risk. Exposures during both the prenatal and adolescent periods were studied in human populations and animal models.
